Part of the day-to-day work of our staff is to support people in taking part in regular activities which are of interest to them, for example:
People are also supported in their daily activities such as going shopping, preparing meals and managing their homes.
Some of the activities Turnstone organises are funded by a Department of Health Carers grant, allowing people to take part in activities of their choice and family carers to take a break from their usual commitments to do other things.

Uniquely Turnstone has a state of the art sensory room in Aylesbury, in which people can experience light, music and sound therapy.
The multi-sensory room provides those with other means of communication with additional ways to express themselves and interact with their environment, as well as the 'feel good' factor.
